The location was ideal in a superb area, short walk to the golf Club where the Lodge is a separate building in the grounds, the cowdray estate ruins, and Midhurst, a lovely town with nice cafes and restaurants. Also, National Trust was 5 km away.

The breakfast provided at the nearby golf club was well-prepared, offering a good selection that was both delicious and served with attentive service from the staff.
The mattress was dipping and the pillows were quite flat, which negatively impacted my sleep quality.

Lovely stay despite dampness
The room was comfy and the shower and bathroom were really nice. We did, however, have a big issue with the damp smell, which didn't help us with our newborn. Breakfast was a bit of a letdown, no fruit and barely cooked mushrooms. The bar area looked nice, though!

charming stay with room for improvement
The room offered a lovely bath. The comfy bed made for a restful night, complemented by a picturesque view right outside the window.
The breakfast, while decent, could benefit from more variety.

The room was spotless, and I really enjoyed the spacious layout and comfy bed during my stay. There were some lovely areas to relax, including the neat garden and a cozy lounge. Just a heads up, the breakfast could use some improvement, as the coffee was a bit weak for my taste. 😊

The bed was comfortable. Proximity to local attractions like the farm shop added convenience, though some minor cleanliness issues in shared areas could be improved.
